THE PROCEDURE PROCESS

RHINOPLASTY OPTIONS

Rhinoplasty is performed using general anesthesia to ensure the safest and most comfortable patient experience. This procedure may involve various steps, including reshaping the existing bone, enhancing the area with implants or cartilage graft, and removing portions of tissue. One of two rhinoplasty techniques may be used:

• Open: This technique provides optimal visualization of the nasal structures and tissues. An incision is created on the columella (between the nostrils) and allows for more extensive correction. 
• Closed: This approach involves creating all incisions within the nose for a scarless enhancement. Because the underlying nasal structures are not completely revealed, this technique is ideal for minimal correction.
